The Rivecour house does not apply exchanges. On the other hand, we will refund any items that do not fit within 15 days of receiving your package.

What is pre-order?

The pre-order system allows you to secure the pair of your dreams.

At Rivecour, we produce little, closely and well; This is why we will produce according to the level of demand for these products.

You pay for your product like a regular product and you receive your order on the date indicated on the product page.

How does the pre-order work?

• Only one pre-order item can be added to your cart at a time

When will I receive my pre-order?

Making quality shoes takes time because most of the manufacturing steps are done by hand. When you make a pre-order, the delivery time may vary from a few days to several weeks depending on the availability of materials and the date of production launch in our workshop.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

What is the difference with creating an email alert?

The email alert allows us to notify you when your favorite model is back in stock, however the product is not guaranteed to you.

The pre-order will allow you to ensure that you get the product by paying for it.

Return from Metropolitan France (free)

1. Log in to your account on then go to "My orders" and click on the "Details & Returns" button.

2. Specify the reason of your return.

3. Check the products you want to return.

4. Our Customer service will quickly send you a prepaid label to print and stick on your package.

5. Slide your products to be returned and their invoice into the package on which you will stick the prepaid label.

6. Go to your nearest post office to drop off your package free of charge within 15 days of your return being validated.

Where are my Rivecour made?

Rivecour pieces are handcrafted in Portugal, in the Porto region, with respect for traditional know-how.

Where do the leathers used come from?

All our leathers come from Europe (Italy, Spain)

Where does the stationery come from?

We produce close and well and apply this same principle to all of our stationery which comes from France.

Our paper is certified 100% recycled and our boxes up to 65%.

Leather products

To maintain your leathers, remove impurities with a soft cloth, then apply a wax of the same color to nourish and protect the leather.

Use a chamois and make small energetic circles to restore the leather to its full shine. Be careful, never use solvents.

Suede products

For your suede shoes we recommend that you use a soft brush, preferably crepe, to remove impurities and dirt.

The suede models are quite easy to maintain but in the event of a stain you must intervene quickly.

If you are not at home, we recommend that you take a tissue and absorb everything you can, but do not scrub or you risk spreading the stain. When you get home, we advise you to apply a specific anti-stain aerosol for suede leather or to wash with water and Marseille soap with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Do not forget to do both feet so as not to have a difference in color!

Fancy leather products

Models in fancy leather are more fragile. For all of these, you need to be more considerate and for any specifics, seek advice from your beloved shoemaker before committing irreversible damage.

For cracked leathers, we strongly recommend that you waterproof them to protect them against rain and stains. You should never brush them because the material is fragile and could damage your pair. If a stain appears, rub gently with a soft, damp cloth to remove it.

Protection soles

We recommend you to add a protection soles at your shoemaker when your shoe is still new, so that it adheres completely to the sole.

This protects your sole against moisture and wear and has an anti-slip role.

We recommend the natural rubber ones to allow your shoes to continue to breathe!
